On the weekend of the 18th of June five of us traveled to Germany, for Wake the line. Me Oli Woods, Liam Smith, Matt Burns and from all the way across the pond Reed Watson. We set off on Friday lunch time heading for Dover. Once off the ferry we drove a few hours before getting some rest for the night,
Killing time on the ferry.
There was some great architecture to be seen old and new.

When we arrived we meet up with Si Powell to give our support, even managed to get a chance to see the practice session.

Si popping well out o the stair gap, GO POWELL WHOOP WOOP !!!

Another rider seen in the UK is Daniel Grant who is some one to keep an eye on in the next few years and was the only rider to be entered for wake and skate, he rode very well throughout the weekend

Nick Taylor was there along with a Ben Horan.

Wake the line had some really great obstacles including some signature
series rails such as this downrail by Nico von Lerchenfeld

Or this poolgap/stairgap by Silas Thurman

Possibly one of the most new and diffrent obsticles is this quarter pipe and will become a great addition once people get more use to it.

Over all the event was amazing so many rails, and riders even the odd showers couldn't dampen anyone's spirits, the VIP area had free beer, There was BBQs and much much more going on so there was never a dull moment and it had great vibe to the day, my only bad comment i can make is that the event was too short and could do with being a 2 day event but this is probably just cos we traveled 480 odd miles to be there.
After the event we went looking for a winch spot but the weather and having to get a ferry Sunday afternoon, meant there just wasn't time. so we went for a mooch around a few towns on the way home.
